Albert Fry Associates are pleased to have provided structural and civil engineering consultancy services to the Henderson Group in the redevelopment of their retail premises at Fortfield, Carrickfergus. The outlet provides a full range of in-store facilities including Post-Office, Off-Licence, Grocery, Food-to-go etc whilst fuel and car wash are available on forecourt.

The site was redeveloped in a phased approach to maintain trading throughout with a architectural steel frame erected on piled substructures.

All relevant concents were delivered involving engagement with a host of statutory authorities including Planning Service, Transport Northern Ireland, Northern Ireland Water, Rivers Agency and Northern Ireland Environmental Agency.
