This housing development for Clanmil Housing Association delivered a mixture of 102 social and affordable homes including a range of dwelling types, quality landscaping, children’s play areas etc. The North Belfast site was of a brownfield nature being formerly occupied by a large industrial training centre and barracks.
Initially extensive demolitions and environmental remedial works were undertaken to deal with existing structures and a range of contamination issues associated with the site’s former use.
Thereafter AFA played a key role in addressing site-wide issues in response to challenging topography (TAS retention etc.) and limited local NIW infrastructure (SUDS etc)
