Established now in Northern Ireland for more than 20 years, Sensata Technologies (formerly Schrader Electronics) is a leading industrial technology company developing sensors and sensor-based solutions for the automotive and aerospace industries.

Albert Fry Associates, as the C&S discipline within RPP Architect’s client-side IDT, are supporting Sensata’s plans to build this 61,500 m2, £16.5 million R&D testing and grade-A office space for its engineering and software development teams at Global Point Business Park, Newtownabbey. Sensata’s D&B Construction Partner, Turkington Construction have commenced the planned two-year construction project at site which, once complete, will accommodate between 450–500 employees complimenting the Sensata’s existing Antrim facility.
